This Sunday, March 24, is Palm Sunday commemorating Jesus’ triumphal entry into Jerusalem and the beginning of Holy Week.

The Church is joyful after forty days of repentance. Christ is coming into Jerusalem. He is coming in the name of the Lord in fulfillment of the prophecy (Zechariah 9:9-16).

Archbishop Khajag Hagopian’s Holy Week schedule is as follows:
Palm Sunday, March 24, His Eminence will celebrate the Divine Liturgy and deliver the Sermon at St. Kevork Church (Bon Pasteur), Laval.

March 28 is GREAT AND HOLY THURSDAY, and the day’s services memorialize the Last Supper, Jesus’ vigil in the Garden of Gethsemane, His arrest and trial. His Eminence will officiate during the Washing of Feet and Tenebrae services at St. Hagop Church, Montreal.

Holy Friday, March 29, His Eminence will preside over the Entombment Service of our Lord Jesus Christ, at St. Hagop Church, Montreal.

Holy Saturday, March 30, His Eminence will preside over Easter Eve (Jrakaluytz) services at St. Mary Church, Toronto.

EASTER SUNDAY, March 31. The central holy day of the Christian calendar, and commemorates the discovery of Christ’s empty tomb and the news of His glorious Resurrection. His Eminence will celebrate the Divine Liturgy and deliver the homily at St. Mary Church, Toronto.
