06 Dec Archbishop Papken meets with the Bible Society
On Wednesday, December 6, 2023, His Eminence Archbishop Papken Tcharian met with Dr. Michael G. Bassous, General Secretary and Chief Executive Officer of the Bible Society, in the Prelacy headquarters.
At the meeting were also present Mr. Majd Alajji, Senior Manager of Diaspora Church Relations, Mr. Jordan Roy, Regional Director of Quebec, Father Dimitri and Prelacy Executive Director Dr. Dania Ohanian along with Very Rev. Father Hagop Yacoubian.
The Canadian Bible Society (CBS) is committed to helping people hear God speak in Canada and across the world. To achieve this vision, CBS undertakes a range of activities.
The meeting provided an opportunity of collaboration for printing the bible in Armenian with a focus on children and young adults, as well as using resources for Bible Study sessions and Bible Camps. Translations, distributions, and engagements were part of the discussions.
