Կիրակի, 19 Հոկտեմբեր 2025-ի առաւօտուն, Ն.Ս.Օ.Տ.Տ. Արամ Ա. Վեհափառ Հայրապետը ուղղուեցաւԹորոնթոյի Սուրբ Աստուածածին եկեղեցի, ուր մեծ թիւով հաւատացեալներ կը սպասէին իրենց հոգեւորպետին ժամանումը: «Հրաշափառ»ի արարողութենէն ետք, մատուցուեցաւ Սուրբ եւ Անմահ Պատարագ՝ձեռամբ հիւսիսային Ամերիկայի Արեւելեան Հայոց Թեմի առաջնորդ Գերաշնորհ Տ. Անուշաւան Արք. Դանիէլեանի: Բարի գալուստի խօսք ուղղեց Գանատայի Հայոց Թեմի առաջնորդ Գերաշնորհ Տ. ԲաբգէնԱրք. Չարեան, նախ յայտնելով իր որդիական երախտագիտութիւնն ու հոգեկան խանդավառութիւնըՆորին Սրբութեան Գանատայի թեմին շնորհած այցելութեան առիթով: Ապա, սրբազան հայրը ըսաւ. «Նորին Սրբութեան այցելութիւնը Գանատա ուրախութիւն է մեզի համար, մինչ իր գահակալութեան 30-ամեակի նշումը՝ հպարտութիւն եւ տօն: Մենք, որպէս մեծ ու մէկ ընտանիք, հաւատքի վերանորոգումիբացառիկ առիթի մը դիմաց կը գտնուինք: Այսօր այստեղ եկած ենք լսելու Հայրապետին ուղենիշպատգամը, ինչ որ նոր ուղղութիւն ու նոր հորիզոն պիտի բանայ մեզի՝ հոգեւորականներուս ծառայականեւ բոլորիս համայնքային կեանքին մէջ»:
Նորին Սրբութիւնը իր հայրապետական պատգամին սկիզբը ողջունեց առաջնորդ սրբազան հայրը, գաղութին մէջ ծառայող հոգեւոր դասը, ազգային վարչութիւնն ու յարակից մարմինները, որոնքզանազան պատասխանատուութիւններով իրենց գործօն մասնակցութիւնը կը բերեն մեր եկեղեցւոյպայծառութեան ու համայնքի կենսունակութեան եւ զարգացման նպաստող աշխատանքներուն: Վեհափառ Հայրապետը յատուկ կերպով ողջունեց մեր ազգի սիրելի զաւակները՝ յիշեցնելով, թէեկեղեցին հաւատքի համայնք է եւ մենք բոլորս այդ համայնքի անդամներն ենք. հետեւաբար, անհրաժեշտ է մասնակից դառնալ հաւատքի համայնքի կեանքին ու առաքելութեան:
Շարունակելով իր խօսմը՝ Վեհափառ Հայրապետը ըսաւ. «ինծի համար յատուկ հոգեկան ուրախութիւն էըլլալ դարձեալ Թորոնթոյի մեր ժողովուրդի սիրելի զաւակներուն հետ՝ Աստուծոյ տան մէջ: ԵկեղեցինԱստուծոյ տունն է, եւ Աստուած մեզ կը հրաւիրէ այս տան հարազատ զաւակները ըլլալու, այս տանարժէքներով մեր կեանքը իմաստաւորելու, մեր կեանքի ճամբան լուսաւորելու, մեր կեանքը երկնայինճշմարտութիւններով ու արժէքներով իմաստաւորելու: Ա՛յս է պատգամը Աստուծոյ այս տան. ա՛յս էպայմանը այս տան հաւատարիմ անդամը ըլլալու:
Հետեւաբար, որպէս հայրապետական պատգամ, այսօր կը յիշեցնեմ մեր ժողովուրդի զաւակներուն, թէհրամայական է, որպէս քրիստոնեայ հայեր, մեր կեանքը արժէքներով լեցնելու, որովհետեւ արժէքներով էոր մեր կեանքը կ՚իմաստաւորուի ու իմաստ կը ստանայ: Առանց այդ արժէքներու առկայութեան ումանաւանդ անոնց նկատմամբ մեր ունեցած հաւատարմութեան, մեր կեանքը կը դառնայ անիմաստ ուդատարկ: Արդ, հարց կու տանք՝ որո՞նք են այդ արժէքները, որո՞նք պէտք է կազմեն մեր կեանքի առանցքնու նպատակը.-
ա) Մեզի համար առաջնահերթ ու գերագոյն արժէք է մեր եկեղեցին: Սովորական վայր չէ եկեղեցին. ինչպէս ըսինք, ան Աստուծոյ տունն է, եւ Աստուած կը հրաւիրէ մեզ այս տան հարազատ բնակիչը ըլլալու. այս տան հովանաւորութեան տակ ապրելու, այս տունով պաշտպանուելու՝ կեանքի բոլոր չարերուն ուչարիքներուն դիմաց: Հետեւաբար, Աստուծոյ տունը պէտք է պահել պայծառ՝ իր երկնայինառաքելութեամբ։
բ) Մեզի համար կենսական արժէք է եկեղեցւոյ կողքին գործող հայ դպրոցը: Ըսինք ու կը շեշտենք` եկեղեցւոյ կողքին: Եկեղեցի-դպրոց գոյակցութիւնը բնական երեւոյթ մըն է մեր կեանքին մէջ. անոնքզիրար կ՚ամբողջացնեն: Հետեւաբար, հայ դպրոցը պէտք է պահել ամուր՝ իր հայակերտումիառաքելութեամբ:
գ) Մեզի համար գերագոյն արժէք է նաեւ մեր Հայրենիքը: Ճի՛շդ է, այս երկիրի քաղաքացին ենք: Կըվայելենք Գանատային մեզի ընծայած առաւելութիւնները, սակայն մեր արեան կանչով, մեր ազգայինպատկանելիութեամբ, մեր մնայուն ու յաւիտենական Հայրենիքը Հայաստանն է: Հայաստանըիւրաքանչիւր հայու համար սրբազան արժէք է՝ մեր սուրբերուն ու նահատակներուն աղօթքով ու արիւնովթրծուած: Հետեւաբար, Հայաստանը պէտք է պահել ամուր՝ իր ներքին կեանքով ու արտաքինյարաբերութեամբ:
Ահաւասիկ երեք սրբազան արժէքներ, որոնք պէտք է մնայուն ներկայութիւն ըլլան մեր մտածումներուն ուգործերուն մէջ՝ դառնալով մեր անհատական թէ հաւաքական կեանքի ամուր հիմքերը»:
Սուրբ Պատարագի աւարտին, եկեղեցւոյ մէջ տեղի ունեցաւ աջահամբոյր, իսկ ժողովրդայինհիւրասիրութիւն՝ սրահին մէջ:

“WE MUST IMBUE OUR LIVES WITH MEANING THROUGH VALUES”
His Holiness Aram I
Upon his arrival in Toronto from Montreal, on Sunday, October 18, 2025, His Holiness Catholicos Aram I proceeded to the Holy Mother of God Church, where a large number of faithful were awaiting the arrival of their spiritual leader.
Following the “Hrashapar” (Wondrous God) ceremony, the Prelate H.E. Archbishop Papken Tcharian, offered a welcome address. He began by expressing his filial gratitude and spiritual joy on the occasion of His Holiness’s second visit to the Armenian community of Canada.
Archbishop Tcharian stated: “His Holiness’ visit to Canada brings us great joy, and the celebration of the 30th anniversary of his election and consecration is a source of pride for us all. As one united family, we are presented with a unique opportunity to renew our faith. We have gathered here to hear His Holiness’ guiding message – one that will inspire and direct both our clergy and our community toward new horizons through dedicated service.”
His Holiness began his address by greeting the Prelate, the clergy, the executive committee, and the community related committees, reminding them that the church is a community of faith, and since we are all members of that community, it is essential to participate in its life and mission.
Continuing his address, the Pontiff stated: “It is a special spiritual joy for me to be once again with the beloved members of our community in Toronto, in this house of God. The church is the house of God, and God invites us to be the faithful children of this house, to give meaning to our lives with the values of this house, to illuminate the path of our lives, and to imbue our lives with heavenly truths and values. This is the message of this house of God; this is the condition for being a faithful member of this house.
“Therefore, I remind you that it is an imperative for us, as Christian Armenians, to fill our lives with values, because it is through values that our lives gain meaning and purpose. Without the presence of these values, and especially without our faithfulness toward them, our lives become meaningless and empty. What are these values? That must constitute the axis and purpose of our lives?
- Our primary and supreme value is our Church. The church is not an ordinary place; it is the house of God, and God invites us to be the faithful inhabitants of this house. To live under the protection of this house, to be protected by this house against all the evils and wickedness of life. Therefore, the house of God must be kept strong in its heavenly mission.
- A vital value for us is the Armenian school operating alongside the church. The coexistence of the church and the school is a natural phenomenon in our life. They complement one another. Therefore, the Armenian school must be kept strong in its mission of shaping Armenian Christian identity.
- Our homeland is also a supreme value for us. It is true that we are citizens of this country. We enjoy the advantages that Canada offers us. But by the call of our blood, by our national belonging, our permanent and eternal homeland is Armenia. Armenia is a sacred value for every Armenian, imbued with the prayer and blood of our saints and martyrs. Therefore, Armenia must be kept strong in its internal life and external relations.
“These are three sacred values that must acquire a permanent presence in our thoughts and actions, becoming the solid foundations of our individual and collective life.”
Subsequently, a hand-kissing ceremony (Ajahampouyr) took place inside the church, followed by a public reception in the church hall.
