Հովանաւորութեամբ Գանատայի Հայոց Թեմի Բարեխնամ Առաջնորդ՝ Գերաշնորհ Տ. ԲաբգէնԱրքեպիսկոպոս Չարեանի եւ կազմակերպութեամբ Քրիստոնէական ԴաստիարակութեանԲաժանմունքին, 18 Յունիս 2025-ին, սկիզբ առաւ Սարկաւագաց պատրաստութեան նոր ծրագիր մը,որուն առաջին մասնակիցներն են Գէմպրիճի Սուրբ Նշան Եկեղեցւոյ Սարկաւագները:
Դասընթացքները կը վարեն՝ Հոգեշնորհ Տ. Յակոբ Վարդապետ Եագուպեանն ու Բարեշնորհ ՏարօնՍարկաւագ Հալլաճեանը:
Այս ծրագրի իրականացումով, Սուրբ Խորանի Ծառայողները կը սորվին՝ Հայ ԱռաքելականԵկեղեցւոյ հիմնադրութեան պատմութեան, Սուրբ Պատարագի Խորհուրդին ու անորկարեւորութեան, Հայ Առաքելական Եկեղեցւոյ Եօթը Ժամերգութիւններուն, Հոգեւորականիզգեստներուն, Ծիսական Գիրքերուն մասին։ Ինչպէս նաեւ կը սորվին՝ Գործնականծիսագիտութիւնը, այլ խօսքով՝ շարականներ, ծիսական օրէնքներ, սպասարկութիւն,բուրվառակրութիւն եւայլն:
Այս նախաձեռնութիւնը պիտի օժանդակէ եկեղեցւոյ նոր սերունդի սպասաւորներու հոգեմտաւորպատրաստութեան, որոնք գիտակից են իրենց առաքելութեան եւ հաւատքով, խոնարհութեամբ ուճշգրտութեամբ պիտի ծառայեն հայ եկեղեցւոյ ու հայ ժողովուրդին:

ARMENIAN PRELACY OF CANADA LAUNCHES PREPARATORY COURSE FOR ACOLYTES AND DEACONS
Under the auspices of His Eminence Archbishop Papken Tcharian, the Armenian Prelacy of Canada through its Christian Education Department launched its inaugural Deacons’ Preparatory Course on June 18, 2025.
This newly established program is designed for acolytes preparing for diaconal ordination, while also welcoming ordained deacons seeking to refresh and deepen their knowledge of the Armenian Apostolic Church’s foundations. The first cohort of participants includes acolytes and deacons from St. Nishan Armenian Apostolic Church in Cambridge, Ontario.
The course, spanning approximately 20 weeks, is being led by Very Rev. Fr. Hagop Yacoubian and Deacon Daron Halajian.
Through this initiative, the servants of the Holy Altar will study the history of the Armenian Apostolic Church, the mystery and significance of the Divine Liturgy, the Church’s Seven Daily Services (Jamerkutiun), the vestments of clergy, and the liturgical books. In addition, they will receive practical liturgical training—covering hymns, ceremonial laws, altar service, incense rituals, and more.
This effort aims to support the spiritual, theological and intellectual formation of a new generation of church servants—individuals who are deeply aware of their sacred calling and are committed to serving the Armenian Church and people with faith, humility, and precision.
